Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 16 October 2026
1. About these terms
These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of the Bloomfolk website and, where applicable, our provision of floral design, workshops, gatherings, event styling, event planning and retreat-related services.
Bloomfolk is operated by:
Bloomfolk Ltd
Company number: 17438121
Registered office: 18 Montpelier Terrace, Brighton, BN1 3DF, United Kingdom
Email: hello@bloomfolk.co.uk
In these terms, “Bloomfolk”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Bloomfolk Ltd. “You” and “your” refer to the person or organisation using our website or purchasing our services.
2. Our services
Bloomfolk offers services that may include:
Seasonal and bespoke bouquets and floral arrangements.
Wedding and event floristry.
Tablescapes, floral styling and installations.
Private and public floral workshops.
Seasonal gatherings, supper clubs and other experiences.
Retreats and retreat-planning services.
Event planning, consultations and related creative services.
The availability, scope, pricing and delivery arrangements for each service will be confirmed in the relevant quotation, proposal, booking confirmation or service agreement.
Some services are bespoke and will be designed around your requirements, agreed budget, event details and seasonal availability.
3. Enquiries, quotations and bookings
You may contact us through our website, by email or through another booking method we make available.
An enquiry or quotation request does not, by itself, guarantee availability or create a confirmed booking.
Before a booking is confirmed, we will communicate the relevant details, which may include:
The services to be provided.
The date, time and location.
The agreed price and payment schedule.
Any deposit or advance payment.
Delivery, installation, collection or hire arrangements.
Relevant cancellation, rescheduling and other booking terms.
A booking is confirmed when we have accepted it in writing and any agreed initial payment or other confirmation requirement has been satisfied.
The specific terms in your accepted proposal or booking agreement will apply alongside these general Terms & Conditions. If there is a conflict, the specific agreement will take precedence for that booking, subject to applicable law.
4. Pricing and payment
Prices will be provided in our published price lists, quotations or proposals, as applicable.
Unless stated otherwise, bespoke work is priced according to the agreed design, quantities, materials, labour, delivery and other requirements.
Payments are currently accepted by bank transfer to the account details supplied by Bloomfolk. Please use the payment reference stated on your invoice or payment request.
Your quotation or booking confirmation will specify the payment schedule, including any deposit and final balance due date.
We will not introduce additional charges that have not been agreed or are not otherwise permitted by law.
Where a booking requires additional work or changes to the original brief, we will explain any additional costs and obtain your agreement before proceeding.
5. Deposits and cancellation
All bookings require a deposit or advance payment to secure the date, purchase materials, allocate resources and begin preparation. Deposits are non-refundable.
The amount of any deposit, payment deadlines and cancellation arrangements will be provided in the relevant booking documents.
Cancellation, refunds and rescheduling are subject to our Booking & Cancellation Policy and any specific terms agreed with you.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any statutory consumer rights that apply to your booking.
6. Bespoke floristry and seasonal availability
Flowers and foliage are natural, seasonal materials. Their availability, colour, shape, size and condition can vary according to the season, weather, growing conditions and supplier availability.
We will make reasonable efforts to deliver the agreed design and overall aesthetic. However, exact replication of reference photographs or particular flower varieties cannot always be guaranteed.
Where a particular variety or material becomes unavailable, we may propose a suitable substitute that is reasonably consistent with the agreed style, palette and value. Where a proposed change would materially affect the agreed design or service, we will discuss it with you.
Photographs and portfolio images are intended to illustrate our style and previous work. Natural variations do not automatically mean a service has been delivered incorrectly.
7. Client responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information and to cooperate with us where reasonably necessary to deliver your booking.
Depending on the service, you may be responsible for:
Providing accurate event details, timings, guest numbers and venue information.
Securing any venue permissions or approvals that are your responsibility.
Providing suitable access, parking, loading and installation arrangements.
Informing us of relevant site restrictions or safety requirements.
Obtaining any necessary permissions for the use of the venue or premises.
Making payments by the agreed deadlines.
If your requirements change, please tell us as soon as possible. Changes may affect availability, pricing and the delivery arrangements.
8. Delivery, installation and collection
Any delivery, installation, hire, collection or removal arrangements will be set out in your proposal or booking confirmation.
You must ensure that the delivery location is accessible and suitable for the agreed work.
Where you hire items from Bloomfolk, you must use reasonable care and return or make them available for collection in accordance with the agreed arrangements.
Any agreed charges for missing, damaged or unreturned hire items will be handled in accordance with the applicable booking agreement and consumer law.
9. Workshops, gatherings and retreats
Information about dates, venues, schedules, inclusions, exclusions and participant requirements will be provided in the relevant event or booking information.
You are responsible for providing accurate information relevant to your participation and for following reasonable venue and safety instructions.
We may need to make reasonable changes to schedules, venues, materials or activities where circumstances require. Where a change is material, we will communicate with affected customers and explain the available options in accordance with the booking agreement and applicable law.
Specific event cancellation, rescheduling and refund terms will be provided at the point of booking.
10. Photography and marketing
We may photograph or film our work for our portfolio, website or marketing purposes.
We will not assume that purchasing a service gives us unrestricted permission to use identifiable photographs of you or your guests for marketing. Where permission is required, we will obtain it separately.
If you do not want identifiable images of you to be used for marketing, please tell us before the event where reasonably possible.
11. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the content on our website, including text, photographs, branding, graphics and designs, is owned by Bloomfolk Ltd or used with permission.
You may not reproduce, distribute or commercially exploit this content without our prior written permission, except where permitted by law.
Any bespoke design concepts, drawings or creative materials supplied as part of a proposal remain subject to the intellectual property terms agreed for that project.
12. Liability
We will provide our services with reasonable care and skill and in accordance with applicable law.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Subject to those protections, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable or that arise from circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by information, access or arrangements that are your responsibility, except to the extent that our own acts or omissions contribute to the loss.
Any other limitation of liability must be set out clearly in the applicable booking agreement and must be fair and lawful.
13. Circumstances outside our control
Sometimes events outside our reasonable control may affect our ability to deliver a service. Examples may include severe weather, supplier disruption, venue closure, transport disruption or other unforeseen events.
If this happens, we will contact you as soon as reasonably practicable and discuss appropriate options, which may include a substitute, revised arrangements, rescheduling or a refund where required by law or the booking agreement.
This clause does not remove any statutory rights you may have.
14. Complaints and contact
If you have a concern about our services, please contact us at hello@bloomfolk.co.uk with your booking details and an explanation of the issue.
We will aim to respond promptly and work with you to find a fair resolution.
15. Privacy
Our use of personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy, available through the website footer.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, except where mandatory consumer protection law requires otherwise.
If you are a consumer, you may have rights to bring proceedings in the courts available under applicable law. Nothing in these terms removes those rights.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version applicable to a particular booking will be the version incorporated into the agreement when that booking was made, unless a change is agreed or required by law.
